2017 Spring Game, Golf Tournament and Dinner/Auction Set for May 6

SAN LUIS OBISPO, Calif. — The Cal Poly football team's Home Team Spring Event has become an all-day affair, complete with a football game, golf tournament and evening social, silent auction and dinner.

Annual Cal Poly Spring Game will be played Saturday, May 6, at 9:30 a.m. inside Alex G. Spanos Stadium. Admission is free.

A golf tournament follows at Dairy Creek Golf Course on Highway 1 midway between San Luis Obispo and Morro Bay. Registration begins at 11 a.m., with the round of golf to tee off with a shotgun start at 12 noon.

With the theme of "Gone but Never Forgotten," the social and silent auction begins at 6 p.m. on campus, with the dinner and program honoring Cal Poly football players and coaches who have passed to start at 7:30 p.m. The location of the social, silent auction and dinner will be announced at a later date.

All money raised for the day's events on behalf of the Home Team will go to support the Cal Poly football program.
