Mustangs Rally to Defeat BYU in Five Sets

SAN LUIS OBISPO, Calif. –  After tailing 2-1 in sets, the Cal Poly volleyball team rallied two win the final two sets to defeat BYU 3-2. Set scores were 21-25, 25-20, 16-25, 25-12 and 15-9. PROVO, UT – The Cal Poly women’s volleyball team lost the opening match of the Nike Invitational hosted by BYU, to Idaho State in four sets. Set scores were 26-28, 25-23, 25-22 and 25-23. SAN LUIS OBISPO, Calif. – With the team’s upset win in five sets over No. 18 Arizona this past week at the Shamrock Invitational, Cal Poly has received votes in this week’s AVCA Coaches Poll. NOTRE DAME, IN – The Cal Poly volleyball team defeated Marshall in four sets to improve to 2-0 for the season and remain undefeated at the Shamrock Invitational hosted by Notre Dame. Mustangs Upset No. 18 Arizona in Five Sets

NOTRE DAME, IN – The Cal Poly Mustang volleyball team opened the 2010 season in smashing fashion, coming back from a two set deficit to defeat No. 18 Arizona, 3-2, in the opening match of the Shamrock Invitational hosted by Notre Dame on Friday afternoon.
